About Me

Who am I?

I am not a guru. On the contrary, I am a continual learner/student, and the books, people, and life with all it's experiences have been my teachers.

I am a young person with 55 years of solid experience in making mistakes and learning from them.

I am not here to give "Gyan". I am here to share my thoughts, perceptions, and experiences of life, and in turn learn from your constructive comments.

Why am I writing these?

Few reasons:

1. Experience is like a comb we get when we become bald. It might not be useful to us anymore but it would be very useful for the younger generation that still has full head of hair (I meant the need/use for this experience :)).

In my twenties, If I had known the things I know now at 50+, I would have made different choices in life. (I am not talking about specific life situations here but about the general thought process I should have adopted)

But I learnt lot of my lessons (on what works and what doesn't) in a hard way by trial and error. If I had learnt these from my seniors, I would have saved a lot of time in my life.

2. I am following my kids’ advice. Probably this way, my grand/great grand kids can still connect to (or at least know) me, long after I am gone from this earth, through my thoughts.

3. It can provide a different perspective (my perspective) on the topics written - might help broaden perspectives.(Through comments, I am going to learn from the readers to broaden mine)

There are no right or wrong views/opinions. My perception is my reality and your perception is your reality.

We are what our experiences make (Sweet/bitter/Kind .. based on majority of our life experiences). We are also a product of our mental conditioning by parents/society/surroundings right from our childhood.

Bottom line:

Good/Bad are only attributes. We don't have to qualify/judge anyone/anything as good or bad.
